We had fun working our classroom door decoration for the PTA's competition this week. The kids did a great job painting, cutting, taping, gluing and creating. Once again, they amazed me with their hard work and sense of cooperation. Our theme is "Reading Makes Us Merry and Bright." All of the students made a colored light bulb out of construction paper and wrote the title of their favorite book on it. These lightbulbs were strung up on the palm trees the kids made. It was hard to get a decent picture of the wall, but here are a few.
